The Futterhaus in Wals is my first stop for pet food. It's the only place I can find the brand-name food I need for my cat. I can't find it in other stores. I really appreciate that! The employees are very polite and helpful, and they're happy to give advice! The new employee is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Once, when I was fully loaded with my shopping, an employee didn't hesitate to help me carry it to my car. 😉 Now that's what I call service! I like to drive there especially and find the quiet and pleasant atmosphere very appealing! I enjoy being a customer there.

I always enjoy coming to Futterhaus – whether for specialty pet food, cat toys, or pet furniture. The store is attractively and lovingly decorated; you feel comfortable and enjoy browsing. The staff and the assistant manager are polite and very competent. Thank you (Martina) for the thorough and helpful advice! I'll be back soon!

I can't understand the negative reviews. I was in the store with my little puppy to pick up some things to complete his layette. I was greeted warmly, received excellent advice, and was also made aware of the special offers and the app. The other customers present were treated in the same way. Because of our raw food diet, I'm always happy to find a pet food store in various places across Germany. Of course, our dog is now conditioned to the red and yellow design, which is why he always gets a chicken lollipop at the pet food store. 😜 …

I really enjoyed going to Futterhaus. I didn't have to walk past suffering animals, and there was a great selection of species-appropriate food (and unfortunately, some less species-appropriate options too). Visits were always relaxing, pleasant, and very comfortable. I loved running errands there, picking up donations for the animal shelter, and chatting with the staff when I had a spare moment. They were always very kind to the animals I occasionally brought along. It's such a shame that this branch has to close. Dear Futterhaus, please open a new location elsewhere in Salzburg so I can enjoy shopping for my animals again. I miss you here. 🫂
